Engineer Hardwood
Engineered hardwood consists of a single top layer of solid wood attached to several layers of wood that is in a cross-grain configuration and bonded together under extreme heat and pressure. Its is resilient and the cost is kept to a minimum because the more expensive wood layers are used for the finishing layers on the top and the less expensive timber is used for the lower layers of the engineered hardwood.
Some engineered hardwood floors can be lightly refinish a couple times before the top veneer begins to wear down. Unlike solid hardwood this choice of floor is less likely to be affected by changes in humidity and moisture. It is available mostly in 1/2" or 3/4" thickness either in a click or nail down system and can be installed by a number of different methods such as; floating, glue or nail down.
Vinyl
It is comfortable under foot and reduces noise, which can be important for home and business owners. Vinyl flooring comes in a broad range of colors, patterns, textures and sizes. On the other hand, vinyl floors do not stand up well to heavy loads, it can be damaged by sharp objects and could fade with exposure to too much direct sunlight. Vinyl can be installed under floating or glue down method right over your existing floor depending once its a smooth, seamless and tightly sealed surface.
Laminate
Laminate flooring is synthetic flooring that’s made up of several layers fused together with a lamination process and is designed to look like authentic hardwood, stone, tile and other materials. Laminate flooring has established itself as an innovative and cost-efficient alternative to solid hardwood flooring. Laminate is not only attractive, but available in a wide range of colors and design & easy to clean.However, excessive water can seep into the seams between boards, causing swelling. If laminate is heavily worn, deep scratched, or grooved, it cannot be sanded or refinished like solid hardwood it would have to be replaced.
Tiles
They are available in different sizes in polished, matte and wood looks.Porcelain has a long lifespan, is highly resistant to damage thanks to the clay and temperatures they come from,they have very low porousness, making them easy to clean and disinfect and are also resistant to stains thanks to this. It does have a few disadvantages to consider like the weight, price and the installation process is laborious, time-consuming and costly.

Ceramic tile can be used in several areas throughout the house.Ceramic tile is similar to porcelain tile, and while some companies use the terms interchangeably, they are actually very different. It is easier to cut and cost less than porcelain.Ceramic tile is not as dense and has a higher absorption rate. This means that it is not frost-proof, and it may chip or damage more easily than porcelain tile. Despite these differences, ceramic tile is a very popular choice for floors, countertops and walls.
